My Artistic Process
Captured Through the Lens, Rooted in Painting
My artistic process begins with a photograph I have taken inspired by landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, still life, nature studies, and architecture. I crop the image to my desired size using a computer program, then print it out. Next, I sketch the composition onto my watercolor paper or canvas. As I layer the paint, I continually revise and refine the piece, utilizing techniques like washes and detailed brushwork to transform my initial idea into a finished work of art.

Showcasing Process Work
By documenting my artistic journey at various stages, I invite viewers to appreciate the time and creativity that shape my works from concept to completion.

Printing & Production
I scan each painting at a high resolution into my computer, print it on archival paper for longevity, and offer prints ranging from small to large formats to suit various spaces. I sign, date, label, mat, and frame all of my work.
